major problems at wot 700r4
This problem is really confusing me. *background*Car is an 85 camaro TPI 70,000 miles. 700r4 not original, unknown miles, but its an 87+ i guess its in ok shape. the whole Tv system has been replaced due to a sticking tv valve/broken cable. i fixed that about 2 months ago. adjusted correctly. that didnt fix 2 problems though.
1) i have an extremely violent bucking at wot. this occurs at about 4500rpm and it bounces violently betwwen 4250-4500 rpm when it does this. its like the trans doesnt want to shift. thought it was the governor, but i just replaced that today no luck.
2) i cannot, for the life of me get this thing to rev past 4700 rpm *in gear* revs fine in neutral. before it was more like 4500, but i put in a v-6 governor from bowtie overdrives today. he said it would give me about a 5200rpm shift. im stuck at 4700. its like the car hits a brick wall. im pretty sure its a tarns problem since it revs fine in neutral. could be mistaken though. i need to check fuel pressure...
anyone pleaaaaase help me
im lost at this point

could definatly be fuel probs, maybe weak spark (coil), to large of spark gap, hopefully the torque converter lockup isn't locking and unlocking, I have a manual switch, I'm kinda taking shots in the dark here, let me know if it's already fixed
could also check trans pressures and see what's up, I have a autometer trans temp gauge I would also like to get a permanent pressure gauge for the trans so I can see it all the time, not sure how that would affect actual pressure haveing a gauge wired to it all the time, even if it's 4000 PSI hydraulic line. regardless ...
