700r4 TCC plug and receptacle

Working on an 86. The receptacle is set in the tranny case on the driver's side. It is the one where the four wire TCC plug goes.

I have a new plug with pigtails and a new receptacle with o-ring. It looks like I need to drop the pan to remove the receptacle ? Anybody know for sure how it comes out ?
I just did a tranny fluid and filter less 5,000 miles ago so if I don't have to drop the pan that would be great...........THX for any info.

Look closely at the bottom side of the case plug. You will see 3 tabs that retain it to the case. Take an 11/16, 12 point, deep socket and slip it over the 3 tabs. Then gently push the socket while you wiggle the plug, and pull it out. Install a new o ring on the new connector and a thin smear of rtv (on the o ring)for good measure.
Pan must come down.

Thx for the info. I figured I would have to drop the pan.
About 5k ago I put a new TCC servo in and cleaned the connector up, if I would have been smart I would have changed it then. Thx
