Does anyone have the B&M lockup control on their 700r4?

I would like to know how everyone likes it, how the installation works, and how the module works. IM switching to a carbed engine and i need someway of controlling my converter lockup. also anyone have a carbed engine with a holley carb that can tell me how they ran their TV plunger?
thanks kent

buy the 700R4 holley bracket for the linkage, and I had a B&M kit which locks torque converter based on speed, but sold it since I switched to a TH350 trans instead a few years ago.

ok so explain to me how that works? you set it to a certain speed and it automatically locks it up? then once you get under that speed it unlocks it? what do you do for WOT when its locked up? does the converter typically unlock with a computer controlling it? i dont know how all of that works.

Just wire it so that it will lock up on its own in 4th gear only. When it shifts into OD it will lock up. When it downshifts out of OD it will unlock. No fancy kit is required to wire it up this way. Just use a single prong NO 4th gear switch, apply power to the solenoid and ground it to the prong on the switch. When the tranny shifts into OD it will ground the negative wire of the solenoid and lock up the TC.

Here this might help a little.

I used a 2 prong 4th gear switch which complicated things but will still work.
