help!!!! all the bolts holding the torque arm bushing is stripped

Car: 86 Z-28 Police Interceptor
Engine: 305 but building a 350
Transmission: 700r4 with shift kit
help!!!! all the bolts holding the torque arm bushing is stripped

the stupid mechanic I had put my 350 turbo trans in stripped all the bolts that hold the bushing to the trans. by the way I am using the transdapt conversion kit that uses the stock 700r4 tail housing. how do I fix this???

weld the holes redrill and tap, heli coil, use nuts on the bolts, drill and tap one size bigger, drill and tap to one size bigger in metric ( often can do it with out a major increase in the bolt size)

I was afraid that the metal would be to soft to hold a heli coil??

Stripped

Just locktite, RED, the Heli Coil in there and should be

good to go
