Im putting a th350 in my 84 TA. I bought that hurst changeover kit and have been told that I dont really need it b/c i could use the tailshaft housing off the 700r4.Also, i noticed the tailshaft on the 350 is about 1 1/2 inches longer than the 700.If i put the old tailshaft housing on the 350 tranny, will the speedo gear line up right?If there is anything whatsoever that anyone can throw in the is to help it would be greatly appreciated, as the shift cable mounts, and torque arm mounting are going to seem like a problem.I know there has to be someone olse on this board that has did this changeover. Give me a shout.
