Ok, I finally got the car road drivable (except the exhaust). I hooked up my speedo and when i'm dirving, it says i'm doing 50 when I know i'm not. At a stop, it shows 10mph. WTF?! How am I doing 10mph while idling.

any ideas? I have a brand new speedogear housing with new drive/driven gears, the correct sizes for my tires.

Thanks. I'll take it back out and clean it and see what I get then. But why would it jump to 50mph if I didnt get that fast yet? No way I was doing more than 30mph. Open header in neighboorhood at 10am.

well if it is sticking it will jump to as it breaks loose for a bit till it smags again. but that would have to be a sticky cable.
