Ok guys, tonight I am going to install the new 4th gen pedals in my 91, cut the hole for the master, etc. I need to know what exactly I need to do to bleed the hydraulics. They are used and complete. The trans is not in the car yet, but I will be installing that soon. I did a search for bleeding the stock LT1 hydraulics and had no luck. If someone could help me out that would be great.
Thanks in advance.

Anybody?
There is no bleeder screw on them I know that. Once I had a problem after doind a clutch on a 97Z. What I had to do was just pump the peddle with the cap off the ressivour. I did that and just kept topping off the fluid. Thats all the bleeding I have ever done.

Grover, how did you manage to pull that off - didn't the fluid go shooting upwards every time you pumped the pedal? - Just curiousOriginally Posted by grover85

The way I bled my hydralic clutch in my t5 is I got underneath the car, had the resevior filled & Open, and I slowly squeezed the slave cylinder until it was fully compressed (so you don't shoot fluid everywhere) , and then I let it out slowly.. Do that about 3-4 times. & you should have a good pedal.

Cool, I will try that. Do I disconnect the slave from the bellhousing when i do this? I heard to not pump the clutch pedal while doing this as well.

No dont disconect the slave. Fluid will only shoot out if your jaming on the peddle.
