ok i have the chance to buy a 9-bolt with discs posi and 3.27gears for $100 it came out of a 88 iroc. the catch is that it need one new axel on the drivers side the car it was in was hit on that side like the third time the guy took the car out lastyear. i have a 3.08 9-bolt i got off of my parts car adn was wondering if i bought that 3.27 rear if i could put an axel in it from my other one i have? would this be a good buy? yes? no? mabey?

so will i not have any probs trying to put the axels i already have into the one i might buy since the one i have is a series 2 and the one i might buy is a 3? what all would i have to do to swap out the axels? i dont know much about rearends. lol but anyway so this would be a worthwhile buy!? is there anything else i should look at if i go to check it out?

 

28 spline axles, should be an uneventful swap.... Anyone else?
