clutch wont disengage.

Engine: 356 4-bolt
Transmission: Borg warner T-5
clutch wont disengage.

i just a v6 t5 behind my v8. i used a stock pressure plate and an advanced adapters friction disc. 14 spline 10.5". i put it all together and wouldnt u know it doesnt work. the clutch will not disengage which doesnt allow me to shift into any gear. what can i do?

Is the hydraulic system fully bled of air?

havent had the chance to bleed the hydraulics, but if that isnt it what else could it be? would it make a difference if the friction disc from advanced adapters wasnt as thick as the origional friction disc?

What kind of pilot bearing did you put in the crank?

Did you "clip" the little ears of the fork, around the back of the throwout bearing?
