Parts list for new trans cooler and lines needed
This is an 86 Z w/ 700R4. I want to run braided lines from the trans to a trans cooler. I also want to install a trans cooler that is designed to accept screw-in lines (not clamp-on rubber). Thanks.

I used all earls parts. You will need:
NPT to AN adapters for the case, 1/4" pipe to -6
2 45* -6 ends, thread onto the adapters at the trans.
1 90* end for the top inlet of the cooler
1 straight -6 end for the bottom of the cooler
The cooler itself. I bought a Perma Cool. Something like 15"x20", it's a big b!tch. Fits great in front of the radiator.
I bought 20' of -6 hose, used all but about 3' of it.
Much, much more reliable than the rubber lines. Only tricky part was routing the hose to the cooler and keeping it away from the headers.
