700R4 TV adjustment

Hi guys... I am new to this board so please cut me some slack. I have a 385 stroker that I just put a Q-jet on to replace a 750 Holley. The Holley was there for ten years and worked well. With the price of gas at $3.00 a gallon I thought it was time for better mileage. Rebuilt a Q-jet, but all the linkage is different. Redrilled mounting holes for the throttle and TV cables, but need to know at what ratio they are to each other and how to measure for TV adjustment. I know how to adjust the cable, but not how much travel it needs for the correct pressure. Am I making myself clear? All my cable brackets are homemade. Thanks in advance Phil

Mike 55TPI , thank you so much for the information, it is what I have been looking for. I made a copy of it because at my age, memory is a problem. You made my day!! Thank you again. Phil
