Ok I just picked up a short tail TH-350 and pretty much have all the swap laid out minus the speedo stuff. I'm converting from a 1983 27-spline 700r4 to a short tail TH-350.

I'm going to purchase the Jegster TA so I don't need to worry about the Hurst or B&M swap kits. My buddy's shop is going to mod the driveshaft for me. I'll take care of the crossmember on my own.

The tranny that I picked up does not have the speedo stuff hooked up. The previous owner never hooked up the speedo (strip car), so I need some information on what additional parts I will need to locate to make my speedo work again.

There appears to be a provision for the speedometer cable hook-up but it's only like 1 to 1-1/4" in diameter and is currently blocked off. I haven't pulled the tailshaft off yet, but I'm assuming the gears are also gone. Can someone provide a little direction for me?
