clanking noise in 5sp trani
In my 83 z28, a year ago I replaced the tired 305 with a 350. At the same time I replaced the clutch. Shortly after completion, the outter ring on the balancer came off the inner ring, causing my whole car to shake BAD. Now with a new balancer installed, it ran fine for about a month. Now all of a sudden, only under load the clutch makes a very loud clanking noise, that gets louder as the rpms rise. It sounds great in neutral, but in 1-5 its clanking very loud.
