simple question, but I don't know the answer

I know T5's don't, but do T56's have tranny cooler lines that run to the radiator to cool the trans? is there any reason why you would want to hook a cooler up to a manual trans? is it possible? the reason I ask is because I'm switchin to a manual, and I'm selling my auto tranny and I have a brand new cooler, I'm gonna let it go with the trans if I don't need it...

I dont believe their is any sort of manual that has cooler lines.

You could rig some up if you wanted. just punch a few holes in the case and run a 12v pump to circulate the oil.

is there any benefits to it? I'm thinking its not worth the work. But i might be switchin to a T56 down the road and I just wanted to make sure those didn't have stock cooler lines plumbed...

They do not have cooler lines. There is no need for them in manuals, hence no reason for them being installed from the factory.

Theirs been a few threads around about it but like z28 said, theirs no need for it.

All the other threads i have seen about plumbing a manual for a cooler was just guys looking for things to do. If your manual tranny gets hot enough to actaully need a cooler, you have problems!
