Shifter, pedals, etc from V6 to V8?

If know of someone local that I can get the shifter, shift plate, and pedals from. It is a V6 M5 car. Mine is a L03 700R4 car. I can also get a (V8)T5 local. So, will the shifter, pedals, etc from the V6 go into my car? Thanks!

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Pedals and shift plate, yes.

You don't want the shifter. It feels about like a rubber duckie antenna connected to a bowl of oatmeal. You will bust your knuckles on the radio buttons if you're not careful.

Get a Hurst or something.

before you toss it cut 2" out of it, its a free mod and doesnt take much time, and for access to your stereo, and better shifter location and like ~20% shifter reduction it was totally worth it

its still the 2 peice rubber filled crap, and doesnt have stops.. but on the upside I did save $160 by not clicking "buy it now" on the hurst shifter ;0

edit: and actually last v6 car i was in did not have the rubber filled shifter it was solid
