700R4 TCC Wiring, Which is Proper
Ok, I've read quite a bit as far as controlling the TCC without a computer... Some people say it's best to purchase a kit, which is overly expensive IMO, or just use a toggle switch and wire it properly to the TCC connector on the trans (( +12v on pin A, ground on pin D)).. Any pros and cons to them, or will a simple toggle switch work just fine without a problem...

Toggle switch works, but switching it on and off becomes old quickly. I usually wire them up for 4th gear only lock up. Simple and effective. No toggle needed this way.

Flipping a switch doesn't bother me, I control my cooling fans by toggle switch in all my vehicles... Kinda becomes second nature.. Plus i'll prolly be using the TCC for fourth gear anyway...
Thanks
Where am I able to find a better how-to with decent pictures on wiring it up for just 4th gear lockup???

Thanks, Ill check... For right now I'm gonna just go full manual TCC...
Now if I do the toggle switch method, will I be able to lockup in lets say 3rd gear while i'm cruising??

Shifting while it's locked can easily damage the transmission.... Also with it locked, you can feel a slight jolt while letting off the accelerator such as while cruising at low speed.. The computers is designed to unlock any time you let off the throttle or hit the brakes...
