Art Carr CPT Converters Is it worth the money?

Does CPT build there own converter are a they selling you an of the shelf
unit . Who builds there convertors ? Anyone use there stuff ?
Are you just paying for the name? Looking for a resonably priced 10 inch
non lockup for 2004R 2800 stall

The small lock-ups are pricey but maybe one of these: click on GM Stall Converors or Bowtie Overdrives 200-4R Convertors.

Whoops, I had lock-up on the brain. But I'd still check the above sources.

we're running a Torco(comes in an Art Carr box) in my dad's T400, blown BBC 68 Camaro drag car. It's been working really good.
