T-56 cross memeber
Ive have swaped a 96 t-56 unit into my 85 trans am. i have a spoon cross member, and adjustable spoon torqe arm. The thing is beefy as hell, but makes racket, clunks on every bump. I have centerd the drive shaft loop on the drive shaft and car. Seams that the conection for the torqe are to cross member is just a poor desighn. Anyone know of a better set up? please help, the car is flawless other then this one problem.

I have the same setup on my car, but without the problems. I would call Steve Spohn directly. He typically is pretty helpful, very knowledgable and stands behind his stuff.
Do you know exactly what is hitting/touching what when you go over bumps?

Well im not positive whats touching, but i belive its the mount where the tourqe arm conects to the mount. they look like there verry close, and i belive when the axle moves up or down there hitting each other. i got the mount and arm used so i did not get any directions. So everything is set up to what made the most sence to me.
