200C & 350
I did a search, but couldn't quite find what I was looking for.
I might be getting a full 350 TPI setup, but I have a 200C transmission. What I was wonder is if it will just bolt right up and if so how well will the 200C handle a 350? I do not plan on keeping it mind you, I do plan on going the 700R4 route, but that won't be for a few months before I recover paying for the the engine.
Thing is I need my car running and the 305 in there is right now is not doing well. I was hoping to swap out the engine with the 350 and at least getting it smogged and tagged and then worry about the tranny. My car is sitting un-registered at the moment and I cannot have it sitting around much longer where it's at.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.

The 200c will bolt right up, and should last a little bit, as long as you don't beat the snot out of it.
They came in all sorts of cars, big caprices and all, but they weren't performance orienter transmissions. Just remember when you swap out to a 700r4, you are going to need to shorten the driveshaft. And when you do take out the 200c, how bought you hook me up with the Servo and cover??
