sound like tranny slipping?

ive got an 89 formula with L98 and a 700R4, probably 8 or 9 months ago i installed a holley stealth ram, before if i put it in first and accelerated to 30mph i was at 3000rpm. after i put the stealth ram on, 30mph was 4000rpm. does this sound like the tranny is slipping or could it be something else? i have already adjusted the TV cable (i think is what its called) but still the same thing. thanks in advace

Could be other problems relating to the install of the HSR. The manifold might be leaking when it gets vacuum causing the slightly higher RPM. If it happened really quick after the install, like within a week, I would be inspecting the HSR first.

geometry is probably a different story, as the stealth ram sits higher and we had to bend the bracket to make it fit
