12-bolt or 9-inch Swap
My next upgrade will be to swap the stock 10-bolt for a stonger rearend. I've done some research on the Moser 9-inch and the Strange 12-bolt. I will also be swapping from drums to discs in the rear (which must fit my 15-inch Weld Wheels.) I want a direct bolt-in that requires no fab work and very little parts chasing.
What are some of the issues I will face with the kits from Moser or Strange?
Thanks. -Neil

For street use. you're not going to notice a big power difference between the 2 of them. Pick the one you want.
Contact Moser or Strange and tell them exactly what you want and they can change the axle tube ends to whatever setup you need.

One of my buddies has a 9 inch in his forth gen. He claims with street tires he gets bad wheel hop. With slicks it fine. He contacted mosier and they said that there is nothing he can do about it. He said if he was going to do it over he would have baught a 12 bolt.

- A lot of the guys playing in the super categories are running the 12-bolt. Technology has brought about parts that make them strong enough, and they're lighter than a 9". - That said, if/when my 10-bolt decides to leave this world, I'm going to a 9".
