Whats Wrong With My Tranny

OK guys i am so over it. i have a 83 camaro with 2.8l 2bl carb with the 200c. then engine is new the carb is new and then i made the mistake of getting my transmission rebuilt by aamco. so i get the car back on the road and this is what it does. Drive it around the block it does fine, let it warm up and boom it goes 1st, 2nd, 3rd and then lock up all by 30mph its like starting of in 5th in a maunal. so i take it back and they pull the trannie reajust evrything put a new tourqe convertor and i go pick it up for the first 30 mins it does fine then it starts doing it again. also when i slow down it does not go back into first it stays up in gear. The reason i am asking is aamco said the didnt find anything wrong so i am hoping someone on here can give me some insight to let them know where to go!!! please help thanks alot. sorry for long post.

Isn't there a vacuum line from the modulator on the tranny that has to be hooked up manifold vacuum to make the tranny shift properly? Did you hook up any vacuum lines or metal linkages to the throttle or anything like that? I'm pretty rusty in this area.
