Need help with a TH350 Transmission; guidance
Hey, It's me again, refer to last post if you want to hear my situation, I'll spare the length. I messed up, my tranny is a turbo 350 not a 700r4, but the info from the last post i got was basically this, from floor guy:
Deluxe rebuild kit. This will usually include the bushings needed, teflons, clutches, steels, band, filter etc. Approx $125
vette servo
470 or 500 boost valve
87 and later 28 element sprag assembly
.283 boost valve
10 vane pump guts and new vanes
updated accumulator pistons
new lo-roller clutch
beast reaction shell
That was for a 700r4, what would be different for a th350. I can kinda figure it out, but there are some spots I'm sketchy on, note this is my first time acctually rebuilding and Auto. Looking at getting most of the parts from this site, need tranny to hold 400hp at min, but its a DD so I don't beat on it.Chevy and GM 350 and 400 High Performance Transmissions
Search #k13, then also the small elevated pressure valve.
Are these prices decent or should I keep searching. Also, they have a sprag setup on there, but its wicked expensive, and then there is a book as well. Could use some help here, need to get a parts list together sometime soon. Thanks all. Cheers.

from what i know, the list of parts for the 700r4 is only for that trans. a th350 heavy duty rebuild kit shold be all you need . you may need some help swapping out the tranny in the car. this is a good thread.
