Missing bolts for rearend?
Missing bolts for rearend?
I was wondering if there was a source out there that had all the bolt sizes for the rearend and the coupler between the driveshaft and rearend. Not sure how Im going to be go about figuring out the bolt sizes and lengths without some kind of source. It would be really helpful if I could even buy the bolts off of someone on here as I need to get this rearend done and the guy that I let work on my car before lost all the bolts. Please help me out I need to get my car back on the road before the end of the summer.

You can buy the drive shaft stuff at parts store, or even hanging on a card in the aisles at Auto Zone or Advance or any other place tha thas the Help! line.
The other bolts, best thing to do is to get em off of a junk car in the boneyard.

GM dealer? They could at the very least look it up on their blowup diagrams, and probably give you bolt sizes...
I rebuild my rear over the winter, if you rattled off the places I might be able to dust off the brain and remember sizes.
The DS to pinion yoke I think is a 5/16" bolt, something like 2" long...
