t5 clutch engagement adjustment....

First off with my question. Is there any way to modify the hydraulic clutch system to change the clutch engagement/disengagement point on t5 trannys? Yes I realize they are non-adjusteable. I only have to push my pedal in maybe a half inch to release the clutch and shift. This makes starting off in first gear or reverse a bit tricky unless I just want to burn rubber everywhere (which is fun of course but generally not for any passengers.)

Now, I am running a t5 tranny in my 86 monte carlo but after searching this board I can see there are plenty of fbody guys with the same complaint. The master/slave cyl setup I'm running is for 94 fbody's that use the braided steel line but supposedly are the same as the thirdgen's (only with plastic line).

I was thinking about moving the mount point of the master cylinder pushrod to the clutch pedal higher (closer to the pedals pivot point.) But then I'd be nervous about the angle of that push rod as it wouldn't be coming straight out of the cylinder anymore.

Just seems like there'd be a way to disassemble one of the cylinders to change how much the slave cylinder moves in conjuction with the master cylinder movement but I'm pretty clueless in that area.

Thanks guys!!!
