TH350 Problems.

I bought a th350 from a friend and put a TCI full manual valvebody in it. When i origionaly put it in i put a B&M shift kit in it. I dident know i wasent suposed to. I called TCI and they told me that the only plate compatible with the valvebody was the one that came with it and with the other one the pump was just dumping fluid into the case and not building pressure. So today i took all that apart and put the right plate in it. Now i am getting good preshure but the car will only ease forward on leveled ground no matter how much gas i give it.

Sounds like the clutches in the trany are messed up to me. Any info would help. Thx.

If you've got pressure(for sure on a gauge) then probably either clutches or converter. - run through you vb install manual once more and make sure you did everything right. One wrongly placed check ball(some manual vb move/remove from factory locations) could screw you.

I am not suposed to use any check ***** with this valvebody. I made shure everything was right when i put it in for the seccond time. It is a forward manual valvebody so the only thing i could of realy messed up is puting the plug in the wrong hole, but i checked that.
