Car: 1980 old cutlass
Engine: 305 modified
Transmission: 350 turbo
Axle/Gears: 2.29
700 r4

my mother in law has a 85-87 chev blazer and its days are numbered would it have a 700 r4 in it ?and how reliable is a 700 r4? i have a th350 three gears is killing me on the highway after i put 3.23 gears in it at 3000 rpms it feels like its gonna burst i need a another gear bad im scared the motor is gonna blow on hwy any advice

well you didnt say if its 2wd or 4x4

and you didnt even say if its an s-series or a c/k series


if its a 4x4 then forget it

totally idfferent output shaft on 4x4 than on cars and 2wd trucks
