hi all i have a 86 iroc wit the 305 tpi and 700r4 basically stock everything but, i was wondering if i wanted to put a corvette tpi motor in will it bolt in to my tranny? and also what is the best shift kit out there i saw this one at summit for 160.00 it was a TransGo , or are the B&M ones better?


p.s. what do corvette servos do and how much do you think it would cost to put the servos in with a shift kit you think?

 

Your 700R4 will bolt up to any Chevy V8. Stick with the TransGo kit. A Corvette servo gives more holding power to the 2nd gear band to prevent slipping. The TransGo kit you saw on Summit may already come with one.
