Engine: 350 v8
Transmission: T5
what rear would fit?

what other cars rear ends will fit my camaro 86 350 v8 with t5 manual tranny.. what other cars rears will be a straight bolt in. i want disc brakes any help would be good thanks

Only another thirdgen rear is a bolt in. A fourthgen rear bolts in too, but is an inch or two wider.

Engine: L98 TPI, bored 0.040 over
Transmission: TH350, 2400 stall, shift kit
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt w/eaton locker, 3.42 gears
Look for a rear from a GTA, I found one in the junkyard, it was a 10 bolt disc brake rear with 3.73 gears and positraction. The 9 bolt rears are a little stronger due to the slightly bigger ring gear, but the best ratio offered was 3.70 which is rare, and you cannot get a lower ring and pinion than 3.70. Where as the 10 bolt had various factory gearing and various aftermarket choices.
