I'm kinda worried...

My transmission leaks when my engines running. It looks like its coming from around the dipstick area but im not too sure. Hopefully its just an o-ring or gasket or something very simple.

But here is why im worried:
When I first got my car running, I guess I didnt set the T.V cable properly, car shifted like crap and was acting weird. So I kept trying to adjust it here and there and it got a little better through tweaking.

My transmission was fine before this new engine, never had a problem with it. I'm worried that I may have damaged my transmission by driving it with the tv cable set improperly.

The fluid is ABOVE full when the engine is off, and when the engine is running its bellow minimum.

Transmission is a 700r4 with a shiftkit installed *dont know what brand*.

Do I have a reason to worry? Or is this just a simple fix..

Unless an overfilled trans is pumping fluid out of the vent at the top, it is likely just a typical leak requiring seal or gasket replacement.

Im almost 100% sure that I overfilled it, but the fluid level is below minimum when the car is running.
