Here's the issue. My plans are to swap an LS series engine into my 88 IROC convertible. However, I'm on a budget and doing this piece by piece. I just found an ad for a 4L60E from a 95 F-Body for $500 and am interested but I need to know if it'll fit onto an LS-1, LS-2, LS-6 engine for down the line in my project. Thanks for any info you may give me.

 

not directly. - i believe the bellhousing pattern is the same, but the conveter I know is different for LS series motors.
