Th350 Not Pulling.

I got the trany from a friend and was told it worked when pulled. It was free so he has no reason to lie to me. I put a TCI manual valvebody in it. Put it in the car and it would creap on flat ground but wouldent do anything else. I pulled it out and took the valvebody out and found that my servo had jamed and cracked in half, because i accidently dident put it in strait. Replaced the servo and put everything back togeather. Now when i start it i can feel it kick into all gears (forward/reverse), but now it wont move (no flat ground where it is now). I got alittle mad and reved it up, once it got to around 3.5 grand it started creaping again.

I did notice that there was alittle black sludge in the pan when i pulled it the second time.

Does it just need a rebuild or is there something else it could be?

Yes. I have checked the trany fluid plenty of times. The fluid level is good.

what i asked was if you put fluid directly into the torque convert before you installed in on the trans? if you didnt it could take some time before enough fluid makes its way into the converter for it to work properly, happened to me once.

Well just ran it for 30 mins. Still nothing, checked the fluid several times during the 30 mins.
