shift pattern
anyone know how to change 1985 camaro shift pattern from PRNODD21 to 12DODNRP

If its a TH350 why would you want to put OD into the pattern?!?...
I imagine it could be something as simple as mounting the cable higher up in the shifter, past the pivot point and as high up as possible.

That's a reverse shifter, not a reverse pattern. Do do what you you want, install the shifter backwards with the cable coming out the back.
Normal shift pattern is PRN321
Reverse pattern is PRN123
To do that, you need a reverse pattern valve body.
