Vette servo in, question!

Hi, I got the vette servo installed by AAMCO (I know). I got the servo and they just did the labor. 45 bucks. I didn't think it was bad, so I went ahead and had them do it.

Now, my 1-2 shifts are a bit more agressive, but no where close to neck snaping.
The 2-3 flare I had is gone now, and it shift to third pretty good.

I thought vette servo was suposed to break you neck on 1-2 shifts.

WTF???

at full throttle it should snap the tires loose without a doubt, although I see you have the hated 2.73 rear gear ratio, maybe an upgrade there would help with torque multiplication

Oh, so you really think its the 2.73s that are keeping me from snaping them tires??? In my 305TBI I could snap the tires in second on 3.23 gears!

Hmmmmm. It doesnt really feel much different then my previous one except the flare is gone! Hmmmmm..

toss in a transgo shift kit if you really want to feel the shifts. notice I said transgo and not the B&M kit, don't make that mistake.

I had this transgo installed in mine: Performance Transmissions–specializing on 700r4 and 4L60e - TransGo 700R4 Street/Strip Shift Kit w/1-2 accumulator

Downshifts and upshifts are nasty, but I don't always break the tires loose. Either way the WOT shifts will snap your neck.

I have the B&M shift kit in mine (previous owner installed), and the vette servos, on a fresh built tranny with a 350 in front and 3.42's behind, and I can barely tease the car from a stop without breaking traction - and on rainy days forget it - no traction on 1-2 or 2-3!
