tranny fluid
allright im hitting 186k in my t-5 and im guessing its time to change the fluid.
im preaty sure i know how to do this its just a matter of draining it then you fill it from where the shifter is right? but my main question is what kind of fluid to use (type/brand) i was thinking royal purple? also how many quarts do i need. my mom recentally cleaned the garage and i havent found my manual yet. finally will i feel any differnce in the way my car shifts?

you will use gear lube and not tranny fluid, and you will ont notice any difference in how it performs with a better fluid. on one that old just get some oreillys or someother parts store genaric stuff and use that.
