most likely just a busted trans mount. I had that problem after i took my car to the track. Anything could bust the trans mount though...not to expensive and easy as hell to replace, takes like 5-10 min.

ok just to clarify.. a contant thumping that only people in the car can seem to hear would be the tran mount (under accel). just making sure.. if so I am buying 2 of the stupid things. just so i have a backup.... thing gets annoying....

once you buy an aftermarket trans mount and still have semi stock torque you dont need to buy 2.
Putting that trans mount it somehow helped me hook up a little, unless thats my imagination playing games with me.

thats not so much a concern as I have stripped out two cross member bolts in the past ( the ones holding the crossmember to the body) so something seems to be a little more than normal i suppose.. I have also replaced the one on another camro I have and it broke within a month.. but that was a poly.... and i hear that that can happen.

No No what you guys need to do is just go ahead and buy a polyurethane one now and youll never have to touch it again(unless your dropping the tranny of course)
I know 2 people who have replaced them with factory rubber pieces and they have both broke them twice. Spend the $25 and get a mount that you will not have to worry about. Just my opinion
