kay..got one of our newly acquired running..and they guy said the tranny had some problems...has new clutch...got it runnin..left in 1st fine...second was a little sketchy..almost felt like it was slipping...shift into third and it would grind..same with fourth....we rodded the hell out of it there!..went to turn it around..gravel road thank GOD!! my dad was driving it and when he would try to put it in 1st it acted like it was in 2 dif. gears..????? he would let the clutch out and it would like chatter the tires..he thought we should check the linkage......WHATS WRONG!!!!!!

 

the T-5 really does not have a "linkage" like the older cars had with the 4 speeds and such... it is all internal.. so he would have to drop the trans to take a look at that.... could be that it needs a rebuild as the shift forks are not right in it anymore or something. i dunno lol.. just throwing out ideas.

 

alright....we think it might be the clutch now or something...i suppose we would have to drop it! o yeah...and it works fine when its cold...for a couple minutes...and it does that shiiiiit
