t-5 speedo gear ?'s
i recently replaced the 3.08 gears in my 92 Camaro for 3.73. the difference is amazing. especialy if you watch the speedo, since at 50mph it says im goin 60. what i need to know is-
1)what ratio gears do i need for m t-5?
2)where can i find em?
i did a search, and all i can find is information for 700r4's.
thanx,
chris

Don't bother with changing speedo gears, get an abbott electronic ratio adapter and save yourself a ton of work. It changes the speedo input signal from the vehicle speed sensor to the buffer for the speedo. Takes an hour to do, and is way adjustable to correct speedo error. They even give you an info sheet on the speed correction values!

Re: t-5 speedo gear ?'s
Figured I'd add some info to an old post to help people out like me when I tried to find this part. I found a guy in Huntington Station, NY that sells the GM speedo gears. I needed to find a red 21 tooth speedo gear for my TKO600 and 3.73 rear gears. 6 bux for the gear...can't beat that.
