700r4 harness -> no computer

Hey guys heres the deal, I'm putting a carbed 350 in place of the 2.8. So I take out the computer and all its wiring from the left side of the car, like everyone says to do. The thing is, the tranny harness is connected to all the computer wiring. Now I understand how to wire the tranny itself to lockup in 4th w/o the computer.

What I'm wondering is since there is no more computer harness, what do I hook the tranny harness to? I think there is only one wire, purple, which needs to be hooked to a power source I'm guessing. Anyone ever experience this and where did you get the power from?

thanks

Get the power from the same place it always came from, through the switch on the brake pedal.
