ok i have been trying summit and jegs and junkyards and anybody i could think of who would know what the difference in length is with the stock 700r4 under my 85 TA and a th350 with a 6 inch shaft... i also know that there is a 9 inch shaft and a four..... would any of them be a direct replacement in length wise... i know i need a conversion kit which i already found... i just need to know if the is a direct replacement other than the kit to where i could pull my tranny and put a th 350 in..... i know this all sounds kinda confusing....... but......I NEED HELP LOL!!!
