I did mine this weekend. It was pretty straight forward. The hardest part was mounting the pedals and cutting the shifter and mc holes. But after that was out of the way everything went quickly. It took about 15 hours spread out between two days stopping for food and an ocassonal break of course.

The higher you can get the car the better.
Lots of people will tell you to use a roller pilot bearing, for less wear on the input shaft of the trans. Probably true, but you can also easily crush one side of that fairly fragile rollerized pilot bearing if you try to get excited sliding the trans up. Which you may not immediatly find, unless you have to pull your pressure plate and flywheel, because no one told you to make sure they were balanced before you installed them the first time.

yeah i acctually doing mine right now im about 4 hours in and just gota put the trans in the bell and cut the shifter hole no big deal. i was really suprised how easy evrything went and one word of advise use a 1 1/2 hole saw for the mc and if u get a peadle assebly make sure its got the brakets that mount from the peadles to the clutch mc make life a lot easier
