I am still new to realm of third gens, but I have an 85 IROC that is getting an LT1/4L60E from a 95 roadmaster that I picked up. The engine and transmission are sitting on the garage floor back at home (I am working in another state). The care currently has a carbed 350/th350 in it that someone swapped in. I already bought a new crossmember as the previous owner "fabricated" his own crossmember for the Th350. My next concern is the torque arm bracket. On the factory setup it is supposed to bolt to the transmission, or the crossmember. Currently someone made a bracket from the crossmember. Also is there anything else I am going to need besides a driveshaft and torque arm bracket? I only have a limited time for thanksgiving home and I would like to the car where I can drive it around.
