4th gen rear w/iroc wheels?

Has anyone swapped a 4th gen rear in and used IROC wheels on it? I've searched and haven't found any pics or info using these wheels.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Looks unbelievably STOOPID.

Gives the car that silly-a$$ r¡cer skateboard poseur look. You know.... the little skinny stock wheels, stuck way out wide past the fender well. Sort of like putting rear-wheel-drive wheels on a front-wheel-drive car.

Please don't do that to your car. It'll make other drivers laugh; kind of like I did this afternoon when i saw some young kid driving what looked like his grandma's old Accord, with the whole exhaust system detached from the car and this big coffee-can thing below the back bumper. I think the poor child even saw me laughing at him. Oh well, I guess it's better that he figures out that he looks ridiculous to his betters, before he has to find it out the hard way in real life someday.

That kind of stuff gives our cars a bad image in the eyes of the general public.

Zephyr runs that, so he'll have some pictures to show it. It's not THAT noticeable. It's something like 2" more per side. You can use 4th gen wheels with that 4th gen rear of course...

Mine is set up that way with no problems - as long as your springs aren't shot completely - with bad springs the tires can stick out just enough to catch the fender lip on a bad bump.

The 4th gen wheels have more offset, and thus tuck in farther, avoiding this - but you have to get spacers for the front 4th gen wheels to work.

The front IROC wheels stick out farther than the back ones, right?

yes they have 16mm of offset and will stick out 16mm more if you put them on the rear
