Sure. There's 2 ways to go about it. One has more steps, one less steps.
1. Buy trans with "bent shaft". Let's call this one #1.
2. Buy trans without "bent shaft. We'll call this one #2.
3. Buy rebuild kit.
4. Disassemble both transmissions.
5. Set aside bent parts from #1 trans.
6. Assemble #2 trans into #1 case using rebuild kit (bearings & various other soft parts).
7. Install trans #2 into vehicle.
Now.... explain to us all, the benefit of going through steps 3 thru 7; as opposed to eliminating step 1, starting at 2, then skipping straight from 2 to 7.
Then you'll see why my advice is about to be what you've probably already figured out is the real deal.
Keep looking. We all like to think we can "save the planet" sometimes, one transmission at a time; but the real world doesn't work quite like that. Don't rescue the person with the trashed transmission from taking a financial bath, by taking the bath for him.

If the $300 is burning a hole in your pocket, feel free to send it to me, instead of throwing it in the trash.
Which is EXACTLY what buying a destroyed transmission amounts to. You get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WHATSOEVER of value by buying that, except maybe that wonderful warm fuzzy feeling of being somebody else's "greater fool".
