...still confused about differential selection...

Hi everyone!
8.5 inch 10 bolt rear is secured! Now it’s time to modify it to fit in my car and to strengthen it to withstand the torque 8 times that of honda.

I’m not concerned about welding holders, TA mount, etc... It should be a piece of cake.

The problem is that I have not yet decided about the type of differential for this housing. I still don’t know which one is better - locker diferencial or LSD diferencial. I heard that locker is a bit noisy through hard turns, but I can’t imagine how this sounds like. Is it annoying? Can you hear it at lets say 60 mph through curves? I know that LSD is very quiet, because I’ve been having it so far in 7.5 housing, but for me it’s more important how it behaves during drag race. If locker isn’t too much pain in the ***/ear, than I would rather go for that one. What would you buy If you were me?

I’m planning to buy 30 spline axles, girdle, 3.23 gears,...
And I’m also considering a stronger driveshaft. I have no idea how much a stock 2.5 inch driveshaft can withstand. If I order ALU driveshaft at summit, how can I know that it will be just the right lenght and that it will fit TH350. Do the 3inch ALU driveshafts have any stronger crosses and if they do, is it than necessary to replace differential yoke also?

As I’m from EU, I don’t really know exactly where to buy these things in the USA. Which shops do you prefer (solid price&quality)

Thank you.
