Need picture of the side of a Zexel Torsen LSD
I need to know how many bolts are supposed to hold the carrier together since one or two fell out. I've got 4 in the carrier and one in my hand that is all beat up and a hole in the diff cover, but the hole doesn't look large enough for the bolt to fit through.
here is a pic from torsens' site,

from this angle, I can't tell how many bolts hold the diff together.

thanks.
Ok, looks like only 4 bolts, which are still in there. I didn't notice any ring gear bolts missing, but I'll double check just to make sure.

did your 305 munch up a take-off Torsen diff? Or did something else come loose? If you actually broke the diff then I better be careful with mine too!

Well, I am either retarded or blind (maybe a bit of both
).
I "thought" that I had all 4 bolts on the torsen, but it turns out that I sheared off 2 of the bolts that hold it together and one did go through the TA cover.
This rear was off of a 2001 SS. Rear was all stock except for the TA cover and the Moser Axles I used from my other rear.
I am a little worried that I may have damaged the Torsen by driving it home with only 2 bolts and fliud leaking out, only drove about 5-10mph for less than 3 miles.
I am going to try and yank it out tommorrow if the weather is decent.
