T-5?
this is going to sound stuiped but i have a 2.8 v6 with a 5-speed trans...im looking to get a short throw shifter for it but when i look it says 82-92 camaros with T-5. Do i have a T-5 or was that for just v8s? T-5 means a 5 speed right? like i said its stuiped but im trying to learn about my car as much as i can so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Nick

You got a T5, but some of it's internals are dif from the V8 equipped cars. If you still have the original trans in the car then you have a NWC t5, while after '88 in GM vehicles with the T5, the trans was a WC T5 - a quick search will fill you in with all the pertinent info
