Anybody have a t5 bellhousing for sale?It has to be for the mechanical clutch linkage type,(82-83)Having trouble finding one in my area.thx

 

It's your perfect opportunity to swap it over to hydraulic.

That's what I did to my 83 in I guess it was about 86 or 87.

You need the hydraulic BH, fork, hydraulics themselves, and the complete pedal assembly. You'll need to get the 2 rod-shaped braces that go from the pedal pivot to the firewall, and the U-bolt like hardware that holds in the master cyl. The hole in your firewall where the rod goes through, is just about right for the hydraulics; it has to be enlarged to one side and downwards (I don't recall which side), and the 2 holes drilled for the U-bolt thing to go through.

 

I have the bellhousing you're looking for. They are pretty hard to come by since they were only used for a couple of years. How bout $75 U.S. plus whatever shipping costs? I could probably sell it for twice that on Ebay since they're so scarce, but I'd rather help out a fellow thirdgen.org member in need. Let me know if you're interested. Pat.
