Lt-1, 350, with 4L60 (easy or not?)
WOuld a Lt-1 350, and 4L60 out of a 94 camaro work in a 1984 camaro. Would it be a big job to wire this thing? I do not have the original ECM of the 84 would it need the one of the 94, or are their kits available that will do the same thing? ANy help would be greatly apretiated.
This site has an engine swap forum, and a sub-forum in that engine swap forum for LTX/LSX swaps. That would be a good place to start for researching LTX swaps. Make sure you read the stickies on the top of the LTX/LSX swap boards on LTX swaps.

You'll need a 94 harness and maybe 94 pcm because you are running a 94 4L60E. Its nice to have the entire dash/interior harness too. The 94 4L60E is only usable on 94(well, in sure there is a way to make it work on other years but thats really advanced tech). 95-97 4L60E's are interchangeable with each other.
Wiring is kind of a job. 15 plus or so wires plus ignition, fuel pump wiring, etc. Big thing is to wire it the right way, meaning using a soldering iron, solder, and heatshrink to mate the wires together(no twisting the wires together and using duct tape).
The aftermarket wiring kits are really expensive.
Are you sure you don't have a 94 4L60E? A 4L60 is basically a 700R4.
