350 or 700r4
350 or 700r4
I need to rebuild my 700r4 i have a friends who is pushing on a turbo 350 is it worth it to rebuild this tanny or just get a new 350. I use this as a daily driver, will i see a big kill in gas mileage, and what about highway, is it still going to be drivable on high way or should I go with a shift kit and higher stall.

It all depends on what the cars intended use is. If your doing a lot of driving with the car I wouldn't recommend the TH-350 since the loss of OD will be a pain.

Keep the 700r-4. Rebuild it with some corvette servos, mild stall and a shift kit. Enjoy the OD and extra gas milage on the highway.
- 700r's can be built to handle around 750hp, rebuild it or buy a quality one from Pro Built or PATC(raptor). If you're gonna drive the car, why loose the lower 1st gear or the OD for fuel economy? Thread
